you might say any evidence? Yes there are 100s of studies prooving that cholesterol and saturated fat clog your arteries. I will explain how.

2 types of cholesterol HDL AND LDL hdl is high density lipoprotein and ldl is obviously low density lipoprotein. Now hdl doesnt do anything towards cancer and heart disease. LDL cholesterol causes plaques to build up in your arteries causing heart disease.

ATHEROSCLEROSIS is the term used for clogged arteries or when there is some plaque in the arteries if you eat meat or any animal products you will have atherosclerosis.  LDL cholesterol above 75mg/dl will give you atherosclerosis this is where atherosclerosis starts to progress but of course its very slow and the more cholesterol you have the faster atherosclerosis develops.

So how does veganism counter act this? Vegan diets have 0 cholesterol now you might think well cholesterol helps with inflamation yes it does but the body does produce its own cholesterol and its not enough to give you atherosclerosis.

Now saturated fat is not reccomended to be consumed upper 21g per day as it can raise your LDL cholesterol and give you atherosclerosis. Meat eating is not healthy neither is dairy and eggs and its not moral either.

Also LDL AND SATURATED FAT feeds some forms of cancers directly and is shown to have a 40% decrease of prostate and breast cancer if you have a vegan diet. This is because cholesterol and saturated fat gets fed to the cancer cells. Also dietary methionine but thats for another article

If you want to go vegan there are plenty of ways of eating while being vegan there are still junk foods like oreos, dorritos etc.

Just be vegan
